Support
Stuck, confused, or found a bug? Email support@sandbagger.app and a real person gets back to you — usually within a day. The answers below cover the questions we hear most.
Getting started
Download Sandbagger, create an account, and you're in. To score a quick round, tap Quick Play, pick a course, add your players, and start on hole one. To plan a full trip, use the Trip wizard for lodging, flights, events, and everyone's scorecards in one place.
How do I join a trip someone invited me to?
Ask the host for the invite code, then tap Join Trip and enter it. If they invited you by phone number before you signed up, your spot is already waiting — sign up with that number and the trip appears automatically.
Does scoring work without signal?
Yes. Sandbagger is offline-first — keep scoring in a dead zone and everything syncs the moment you're back in range. The leaderboard catches up on its own.
How do side games and payouts work?
Set up skins, Nassau, closest-to-pin, long drive, and more before or during the round. Sandbagger does the payout math automatically and shows exactly who owes who, so you can settle up without the napkin accounting.
How are handicaps handled?
Enter your handicap in your profile, or let the host set per-trip handicaps. Sandbagger applies strokes automatically based on the format you're playing.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter your email. We'll send a 6-digit code — enter it in the app, then set a new password. The code expires in 60 minutes.
What's free, and what costs money?
Downloading Sandbagger is free, and joining any trip is free. The host unlocks the premium extras once for the whole group — so nobody in the foursome pays to play along.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Delete Account. You choose between anonymizing (keeps historical leaderboards intact for everyone else) or full removal. There's a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
